Description:
Markus Molitor Haus Klosterberg Trockenbeerenauslese Riesling is a piece of perfect German engineering, it's dry but also sweet, complex and deep. The 2005 vintage was a great year for Riesling grapes in Haus Klosterberg, the warm and dry summer weather allowed the grapes to reach optimal ripeness. The wine is aged in oak barrels for the perfect amount of time, giving it a complexity of flavors that will make your taste buds do the "Prost!"
The color is a beautiful golden yellow, like a ray of sunshine on an Oktoberfest day. The aroma is a mix of tropical fruits, vanilla, and a hint of Käsebrezel. On the palate, it's full-bodied and has a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, like a wine version of a Sauerkraut and Bratwurst pairing. The finish is long and refreshing, like a cold Eisbier on a hot day.
The 2005 Markus Molitor Haus Klosterberg Trockenbeerenauslese Riesling is a wine that will make you forget all your troubles, like the wine version of a Biergarten therapist. It's a wine that will make you laugh, dance, and even sing "Ein Prosit der Gemütlichkeit" (but please don't sing out loud). |
